| biological activity | Apilimod mesylate (STA-5326 mesylate) is a potent cytokine interleukin-12 (IL-12) and interleukin-23 (IL-23) of oral inhibitors, with the potential to treat certain autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. Apilimod mesylate (STA-5326 mesylate) can inhibit IL-12, in human PBMC cells stimulated by IFN-γ/SAC, human monocytes and mouse PBMC cells, the corresponding IC50 values were 1 nM, 1 nM and 2 nM. Apilimod mesylate (STA-5326 mesylate) is also a small molecule compound with cell permeability that inhibits PIKfyve with an IC50 of 14 nM. |
